Mediteran Adria d.o.o. (brand name MedAdria), one of Croatia's leading national incoming tour operators with its own online reservation service, was founded in the year 2008 by Croatian and English partners MedAdria Ltd. and Mediteran Adria d.o.o.

From the beginning its main guiding principle was to offer holidays which were mainly tailor made but also to bring benefit to the local people, the destinations and the environment.
MedAdria is backed by a team of experienced professionals who really do have a passion for what they are doing, and have wide knowledge of Croatian tourist offer. In order to create the high-quality products and services, the team monitors the daily changes in foreign and domestic travel offers.
MedAdria has become an international travel group and has strengthened its position among the leading Croatian tour operators by providing the best solutions and products to its partners and clients.
MedAdria continuously nurtures the high quality level of its products and is constantly working on strengthening of the distribution channels for its products. One of the main business goals of MedAdria is the brand establishment. Our team

Janko Mavrović
Janko Mavrović Years of experience in management and business organization enables Janko quality management of MedAdria. His true passion is handball, which he has been playing professionally for over 20 years. He has always been the leader of his teams, which has largely contributed to the development of his business career as a manager. His career began during his studies when he went to work in tourism in the United States, where he acquires basic knowledge of the entire hotel business. After he came back to Croatia, Janko worked as a Country Manager for the Netherlands' company "Lamb Weston / Meijer". His distinguished knowledge and sales skills contributed to the excellent results in business activities of the area. In year 2007 he transfers to Smartflex, human resources management agency, as a regional manager. Already in that time, Janko creates the idea of establishing the first online reservation system of the complete Croatian tourist offer. The realization of this idea, foundation of MedAdria, starts already in the mid of the year 2008. As a General Manager, together with his team, Janko is still working on the implementation of new ideas and solutions for the company.
Olivera Vugrinec
Sanja Radovani Sanja joined MedAdria team as a Finance Executive Director. She has been financial and accountant guru for more than 18 years. She is a member of „Croatian Accountant“. With The Certificate on the Acquired Professional Title of Certified Accountant, the Association „Croatian Accountant“ acknowledges her the belonging to the accountant profession, confirming her top professional skills in performing accounting operations for the needs of those to keep business records and in making mayor financial statements and offering advice at the field of finance and accounting. She holds a Certificate of achievement for the Internal Quality Auditor according to the requirements of ISO 9001:2000. Her knowledge of business and finance is implemented with a degree in economy.
Jelena Žižić
Jelena Žižić Jelena began hers tourist career back in high school days working at the reception desk and continues even after completed the tourism high schools. During the work, she decided to expand and refine her knowledge and continued education at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management and has been participated in tourism fairs in Europe. Through her work she met the overall reception business and worked as head of the reception in one of the largest camps in Losinj. This job has instilled highly professional work habits, which she applied in her devoted work in MedAdria. Jelena is responsible of the entire work operation of on-line reservation system and customer relationships, and knowledge of three foreign languages greatly contributes to promoting Medadria in foreign markets. Driven by a very good sense for team work, Jelena coordinates and leads the sales team and is responsible for collaboration with foreign key accounts. She is coordinating the marketing activities of MedAdria’s key accounts in Croatia.
Lucija Cigić
Lucija Cigić After she graduated at School of Economics, Lucija is dedicated to the active playing of volleyball, and she continues her professional career outside of Croatia. Through sports, and years of performing for the Croatian national team and volleyball teams outside of Croatia, she carved her team spirit and communication with people, what greatly helps her in the work. Knowing of three languages helps her to communicate with guests and contribute to work in tourism. She joined to MedAdria team as an assistant to collaborate and sale for the foreign partners. She actively studies Economy at the Polytechnic of Rijeka. Together with his colleagues, she tries to offer their guests the best services, and that their visit to Croatia stays unforgettable.
Josipa Herceg
Josipa Herceg Ciani After graduating from High school of Economics and Tourism in Opatija, Josipa has started with her studies at Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality where she has graduated. During her studies, she worked in a travel agency and had discovered the magic of working in the sector of outgoing. As a licensed ski instructor, she has a great advantage of knowing practically all European ski resorts. She`s also finished a course for professional tour guide/escort, and You can definitely say that the travels are her true love. Josipa joined the team when Medadria was in process of expanding their business in November 2011. when the branch in Korzo started working. She is looking forward to work with people and her clients are always in first place.
Elizabeta Žagar After finishing Hotel and Tourism high school and study at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management she begins working in a renowned travel agency. With four-year experience in the sector of incoming she begins to work in the branch office, looking for new challenges in creating programs for business and private travel parties. By monitoring the tourist supply and demand seeks to advise clients and plan their trips - a dream vacation, whether it be on summer vacation, skiing, cruising, European or overseas travel. In addition, she acquires the knowledge of the destinations during her private journeys which are her great passion. She joined MedAdria team in the branch office on Korzo ready to advise all who want to relax and research the most interesting places in the world.
Goran RadivojevićGoran has over twenty years of experience in the tourism industry. He began his career by attending the Hospitality and Tourism High school in Pula. During this time, he worked as a Hotel Receptionist at various Istrian hotels and surpassed all levels of apprenticeship. He continued his higher education at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Opatija, at which time, he worked as an animator in Medulin and was subsequently employed by the Tourist Board of Pula where he worked for the next eight years. While working at the Tourist Board, Goran had the privileged opportunity to work on a series of domestic municipality presentations abroad. He gained a rich experience in working at trade fairs as a representative of the Croatian National Tourist Board and the Tourist Board of Pula. He represented his town and country in major tourism fairs across Germany, Austria and Italy. Goran gained his first tourist agency experience as a Transfer Clerk and subsequently became familiar with all aspects of the agency business. Shortly after his initial employment at a renowned agency in Pula, Goran became the Market Leader of Scandinavia. The combination of his excellent knowledge of the region, as well as his expertise of market specifics and meeting the needs of Nordic partners, he was able to achieve outstanding professional results. And thus, Goran was able to expand his market to oversee the UK, Benelux, Turkey and Israel. His eight-year business experience has enriched his knowledge and involvement in working with different types of partners, cultures and systems. In September 2013, Goran become a member of the MedAdria team as Head of Contracting.
Tanja KišićAfter graduating from high school, Tanja continued her education at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Opatija. Upon graduation, she starts working in a renowned travel agency in Pula. In six years of work, with dedication and professionalism, Tanja upgrades from booking manager to the position of Coordinator in Benelux market, gaining valuable experience in a wide field of operation of a tourist agency. Through her work she often visited various tourism fairs in Europe, improving negotiating skills in the acquisition of new partners and upgrading existing partnerships. Ready for new challenges, Tanja joins the team at the moment when MedAdria expands its business and opens the office in Pula. Together with colleagues, she is working on the creation of new programs with a special focus on the quality of services provided. Because of the love for travelling and visiting new destinations, she often uses free time for private travel, which certainly help her in professional development.
Marina Žagar
Marina ŽagarAfter 12 years working in two largest travel agencies in Croatia as travel consultant and branch office manager Marina joined Mediteran Adria team. First steps in tourism she begin in high school when she do practical education in few hotels and travel agencies. After high school she start to work in travel agency. During the years she pass many courses in tourism and she has worked as tourist quide on many tours on different destinations. All that was very useful for her because she earn many experience that was very helpful in her further jobs. In Medadria she is working as product manager. Her job is to create new products and present them on the market. Also she is working as travel consultant for corporate partners for their business and private trips.
Senka ŽarkovacRight after finishing high school, Senka has completed her one year internship in the famous paper products company. She continued her education for a certified accountant at the National University in Rijeka, and additionally at the IT Education Centre Algebra. With 10-year-old experience in the finance department, employs in the renowned leasing home, where she started as an assistant in the selling service and through financial department, completes six years lifespan in the department of blockade. Since 2013 she became the member of MedAdria team as an referent in the finance department.
