Autumn in Dubrovnik region brings cooler weather and warm colors. Go and discover the natural beauty of this area, visit Konavle and Konavoski Dvori that make an important landscape of  the southern Adriatic. Explore the hamlets and villages, visit an old mill, walk through a centuries old green trees and clear creek Ljuta. For refreshment taste the original food, smoked ham (prosciutto) and cheese in the oil, homemade bread and lamb under a baking lid, try a glass of Konavle wine.
Head to the Adventure park Prevlaka and go on adventure walks, group games, including mystery and tasks solving in the old military complex, the tunnels and observation posts. Try free climbing, paintball, biking, or easy walks with nature exploring. Find refreshment in Konoba Gusari (Pirates) where you can enjoy traditional Mediterranean and Croatian food and drinks.
Dubrovnik and its closer environment were given all the benefits of the Mediterranean climate. Explore the old town, walk along the city walls and enjoy a wonderful view of the Elafiti and Locrum islands, fortresses Bokar, Minceta, St. John and Revelin. Watch the sunset from the hill Srđ and from the remains of the French fortress Imperial and you'll understand why the city of Dubrovnik is included in UNESCO's world heritage list.
Winter in Dubrovnik region brings fresh days carried by the wind and fierce sea. Ideal vacation and a combination of primeval beauty and body&soul rest will take you to the right path. Summer in Dubrovnik region is the liveliest time of the year. Very hot summers and long sunny days are ideal for all types of water sports such as kayaking, diving, swimming, wind surfing and sailing. Summer days are ideal for long walks in one of the many parks and botanical gardens.
Visit the Locrum Island in Dubrovnik archipelago. Evergreen Mediterranean island has always been a city's natural defense from the enemy and strong winds. Its name derives from the Latin name Acrumen meaning citrus fruit - the name for the sour fruit and oranges that prospered very well on the island. It was inhabited in the times of Illyrians or Greeks, and the inhabitants were monks and priests. During the Dubrovnik Republic a Benedictine monastery was erected, as well as botanical gardens throughout the island, greenhouses, a garden of Mediterranean plants, orchard, flower garden, and mansion, olive grove which has been preserved until today, vines, other vegetables, herbs and trees... The priests were taking care of everything. Over 60 species of exotic plants have been cultivated on the island. Today, the entire island is a special reserve of forest vegetation.
