The hotel was built in 1968 and renovated in 1986. It underwent many changes in the 90s, and since then, it has an abundance of new and modern rooms suited for tourism.

The Frankopan Cake got its name from the Grand Dukes Frankopan, who during the Middle Ages ruled this part of the coast. The recipe of this baroque cake was first published in 1686 in one of the first Central European cookbooks, written by the Duchess Marie Rosalie von Eggenberg. The Recipe was republished in 1993 and since then, it can be tasted only in Crikvenica, in our hotel’s café.

Ja sada pišem u ime moga sina i njegove djevojke. Znači, po priči bili su sve u svemu zadovoljni, bilo im je lijepo, naravno mladi su i uživali...

Znači, po priči bili su sve u svemu zadovoljni, bilo im je lijepo, naravno mladi su i uživali su. Najviše su bili zadovoljni sa prehranom, bilo je vrlo ukusno, obilato (što je sinu značilo, jer kada imaš 22g onda nekada možeš pojesti i tri porcije… ) Upoznali su se sa jednim konobarom iz (mislim) Slatine, tako da je i posluga bila ok.
Soba, kupaona je malo mala, ali bože moj nisu kolo plesali, tako da je i to ok.
Jedino što su imali zamjerku, parkiralište su morali platiti, jer hotel ima parking ali se plaća, a oni mladi pa im 50kn dnevno za parking bilo previše.
