Uvala Scott is a tourist village situated in the Dubno Bay. Attracted by the beauty of the bay, the English nobleman Alexandre Scott bought it in the XIX century and it became his permanent residence until he died in 1860.
This pavillion-type tourist village of Mediterranean architecture, immersed in rich vegetation, got its name after this mysterious English nobleman. He spent a fortune to green and embellish the bay.
Uvala Scott Tourist Village was built in 1967. Scattered around the village in a Mediterranean style, by Igor Emili design, 298 double rooms, 2 hotel apartments and 17 2+2 apartments are linked up by the central square with various catering facilities along the sea promenade that connects Uvala Scott to the village of Oštro.
Uvala Scott is a seasonal property and is open from early spring (Easter) to late autumn. In total, it has 298 double rooms, 2 suites and 17 2+2 apartments, majority of which is oriented towards the sea.
Out of 298 rooms, 54 rooms are air-conditioned, have a balcony and are equipped with TV Sat and telephone. Also, a number of the remaining rooms also have phone and TV. Mi smo par srednjih godina i nismo previše zahtjevni. Međutim, dodatni sadržaji su jako loši, nema se kud izaći osim u tavernu. Bilo bi lijepo kada bi u zapušteni prostor smjestili nešto što bi privuklo druge posjetitelje (npr. salon za opuštanje, frizerski salon...). Naime,ono čime nismo zadovoljni je opremljenost soba hotela Uvala Scott. Namještaj je derutan i neuredan, ormari-nema samo polica i to prekrivena zavjesom. Sobe bi bilo dobro urediti novijim namještajem i dodati koji priključak za struju da se mogu puniti mobiteli il sl., a ne da se nešto mora isključiti.... usluga/4 ; čistoća sobe/3 ; okoliš i priroda/5 ; odmor/5 ; dodatni sadržaji/1

- osoblje je izuzetno nezainteresirano, od prijema na recepciji, do osoblja u restoranu (čast izuzetcima)
- smještaj je očekivano prosječan, za dvije ** čak i ok
- hrana je izuzetno dobra, od raznolike ponude, do kvalitetne pripreme
- plaža je jako blizu i to je jako, jako bitno
- okoliš je prelijep, ali se vidno ne ulaže u infrastrukturu, što je šteta za bilo koji hotel na tako lijepom mjestu
- cijene su jako prihvatljive, smještaj, restoran, trgovina i sve što se nalazi u kompleksu
- sve u svemu, preporučam!
